After months of rumors and fan speculation, Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez are officially back together.
The pair recently sparked reunion rumors after being spotted together in Austin. Ariana also fueled the speculation during her eternal sunshine tour stop in New York by changing the “thank u, next” lyric for the third time to: “Wrote some songs about Ricky, we always find our way back.”
According to TMZ, sources close to the couple say Ariana and Ricky, who first dated for about a year in 2015, are dating again but taking things slowly.
The news comes a few months after Ariana’s split from her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater earlier this year. The two met while filming Wicked and went public with their relationship in July 2023 following Ariana’s separation from then-husband Dalton Gomez. Around the same time, Ethan had also separated from his wife, Lilly Jay. Sources previously told TMZ that Ariana and Ethan did not begin dating until after both of their marriages had ended.
